The “ Public Affairs in International Operations” course that started today in organization of the Public Affairs Regional Centre in Skopje, is aimed at enhancing and broadening the Public Affairs knowledge and skills of the NATO and Partner countries PA officers to be implemented in International operations.
Seventeen participants from nine countries in the region and beyond (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Kirgizstan, Slovenia, Moldova, Ukraine, United Kingdom and Macedonia) have an excellent opportunity for exchanging experience in the field of Public Affairs and expanding their knowledge and techniques in order to implement the best practices in the international operations environment.
The guest lecturer from SHAPE, the Chief PAO, Col. Eric Bloom (US), during his interactive lectures presented his experience and knowledge on NATO perspective of the Public Affairs in International operations and familiarized the participants with NATO PA Policy and with the best practices and functions of the NATO/SHAPE Media info Centers.
The Spokesperson of EUFOR as a guest lecturer on Thursday, will present a case study about organizing and conducting the Info Ops in international environment and will focus also on the essence and importance of the Cultural Awareness for all international operations and missions.
The five-day course is taking place in the Army Hall in Skopje and is one of the four International courses that PARC is offering annually to all NATO, PfP, MD, ICI and Global Partner countries.
